Several Fundraisers Planned to Benefit Western Illinois Animal Rescue

Western Illinois Animal Rescue is gearing up for an event filled summer beginning with their “Putts for Paws” golf outing at the Monmouth Country Club on Sunday, July 11th. Treasurer Jan Helms has more:

“It is a four person best ball tournament. $50 per person and it includes 18 holes of golf, cart, and meal following the golf. Cash payouts, hole prizes, 50/50, and other opportunities to win. Registration is a noon and a shotgun start at 1 pm. You can sign up by calling or messaging, 309-715-7109.”

Meanwhile looking ahead to future events, a bags tournament and fish fry is expected in August, a 5K in the fall, and a rummage sale sometime in September. Watch the Western Illinois Animal Rescue’s Facebook page for more details.
