Cal Ripken State Tournament Coming to Galesburg

Galesburg, IL (July 1, 2021)  Galesburg Youth Baseball League (GYBL) is hosting the 9 and 11-year-old Illinois Cal Ripken Baseball Tournament at Voyles Field.  The tournament will be from July 9 through July 11.  Games on Friday are at 1 pm and 3 pm.  Games on Saturday are at 11 am and 1 pm.  The championship games will be played Sunday at 11 am and 1 pm.
As part of the tournament events, GYBL will host a home run derby on Friday, July 9 starting at 5:30.  Registration starts at 5 pm.  There are 15 different categories and age groups, and each has a trophy for the winner.  The cost of the event is $5.
