Wethersfield High School 2021 graduate, Coltin Quagliano has finally chosen where and what sport he will be doing at the collegiate level. After a high school career that saw him make All-state lists in football, basketball AND baseball and being highly recruited in all three sports, Quagliano announced he would be signing to play baseball at Illinois Central College, a junior college in Peoria. Quagliano will be signing his letter of intent next Tuesday at 6:00 at Wethersfield High School.

Besides being named an all-stater at least once in all three sports, Quagliano was an all-Lincoln Trail Conference player in all three sports, amazingly, all four years of his high school playing career. He finished his Flying Geese basketball career with a school-best 2,219 points, which included a shortened senior season, due to the pandemic.

As a quarterback for the Annawan/Wethersfield football co-op, he helped the Titans qualify for the Class 1A semi-finals during his junior season in 2019.

On the baseball field, Quagliano led the Titans to the co-op’s first-ever super sectional appearance, batting over .500 and pitching a 1.70 ERA.

Coltin’s plans are to study Business at ICC and plans to transfer to a 4 year college or university to continue his baseball career. Sports have shown him that hard work and dedication pay off and it’s given him a lifetime of memories. Coltin’s parents are Chis and Jessica Quagliano and Michelle Quagliano and Brian Radford. Coltin would like to thank his parents, family, teammates, friends and coaches for the impact they have made on his life to this point.
