Connie Sue Chandler 70, of Avon passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at 4:10 a.m. at Heartland HealthCare Center in Galesburg, Il.  She was born December 18, 1950, in Bloomington, Il the daughter of Howard and Lois (Denhart) McDonald.  She married Roy Chandler June 21, 1969.

She is survived by her husband Roy of Avon, One daughter Kathy (Dave) Horton of Avon and three Grandchildren Cody, Trinity, and Taylor.  One brother Ed (Carla) McDonald, and One sister Brenda (Scott) Kindilien.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She became a believer in Christ in 1987.  She was a member of the University Baptist Church of Macomb, Il where she volunteered for many things.  Connie enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s events.  She loved to find a good deal at thrift stores.  She loved and was loved by her little dog Toby.

Cremation rites have been accorded a celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Illinois Cancer Center and or the McDonough County Animal Shelter.  Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com . Wise family Funeral Home in Avon, Il is in charge of arrangements.
