New portal to show proof of vaccination

The Illinois Department of Public Health is launching a new portal to show proof of vaccination. Public health spokesperson Melaney Arnold says the system is called vax verify, and lets users download their vaccination records, including the covid-19 vaccine. Then you can show proof if required by your employer or to get into an event. Vax verify uses experian to securely verify your identity. You can set up your account at: http://dph.illinois.gov/covid19/data-portal
