Friends of Henderson County Wildlife are hosting their fall Outdoorsmen Heritage Festival and Fish Fry this Saturday, October 2nd at Crystal Lake Club, located east of Gulfport, IL. The day will be full of experience stations for adults and youth, says organizer Rod Brent:

“In our fall event, it is an event that is going to include experience stations for our youth or adult outdoorsmen. We will have a clay bird trapshooting, we will have the University of Illinois Learn to Hunt group there with their archery station, we will have the Illinois DNR there with a boater safety demonstration, and then real exciting, if we have Full Tilt Fowlers, who is a local duck call manufacturer there, doing a demonstration and providing free duck calls for all youth 16 and under. Last but not least, we are going to have MossyBottoms Kennel from Dallas City there doing a waterfowl dog retriever demonstration.”

The festival will begin at 9 am with a fish fry at noon. For more information, click here https://www.facebook.com/FOHCWL/.
