The annual Schuyler Street Stroll in Oquawka is set for Saturday, September 25th beginning at 9 am until 3 pm. Activities for all ages will be on hand including 40 vendors with crafts, jewelry, baked goods, and much more; live demonstrations, live music, tons of games and prizes for the kids, and also the 26th annual car show. Founder and organizer Susan Meyer shares how the annual fall event came to be:

“There used to be Heritage Trails in Henderson County and several years ago it just kind of fizzled out. We got our new Schuyler Street and a couple of friends of mine and I decided we needed to impress the people with our new street. We decided to try to get the local businesses involved and they had always had the car show and so then we started getting vendors.”
