Fighting Scots Offense in High Gear Heading to Lawrence

The 2-1 Monmouth College football team returns to Midwest Conference play this week with a Saturday afternoon date at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Head Coach Chad Braun hopes the bye week off doesn’t slow down the Fighting Scots’ offense, which has put 79 points on the scoreboard in its last two games:

“We thought going into this year that our offense was going to be really explosive, and be able to put up a lot of points week in and week out,” Braun said.

“It’s starting to come true,” Braun added. “We have a big-time playmaker at receiver in Jake Uryasz, and a lot of other guys around him — like Nate Graham, Nate Thornton, Dylan Bone at tight end, and we have a great, young receiving corps that we’re really excited about.”
