Patricia Joan Hall-Foutch, 81 formerly of rural Galesburg and Abingdon, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Courtyard Estates in Bushnell.

She was born November 20, 1939 in Hamilton, Illinois, the daughter of Finice Kenneth and Edna Matilda (Cronk) Atwell.  She married Albert Charles Hall in 1957 in Monmouth, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on May 20, 1969.  She later married Donavan N. Foutch on August 10, 1987 in Abingdon.  He preceded her in death on February 19, 2007. 

Pat is survived by her children, Michael A. Hall of Abingdon, John A. (Janice) Hall, Sr. of Mason City, Iowa, Patricia Lynn (Fred) Voeller of Knoxville and Leilani Susan Johnson of Keokuk, Iowa; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; one stepson, Dwight (and Pam) Foutch of Abingdon; four step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; one brother, William (Wanda) Atwell of the state of Louisiana; one sister, Virginia (Bob) Cherington of Wataga; and nieces, nephews and their families

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Dianne M. Johnson, and one stepdaughter, Frances Eileen Koller Hanna.

Pat attended Monmouth schools and later earned her GED.  She was a bus driver of Abingdon School District #217 and also worked as a seamstress for Joe the Tailor in Galesburg.  She had lived in Monmouth, Hawaii, Abingdon, Wataga, Ottumwa, Iowa, Echo Lake, Indiana, rural Galesburg and had resided in Bushnell the past year.  She was a former member of the First Assembly of God Church in Abingdon, the Wataga Congregational Church and the First Christian Church in Knoxville.  She enjoyed singing and sang in church choirs and for many weddings and funerals.  Her “number one priority in life” was fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Cremation will be accorded.  Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery in Monmouth. Richie Slagel will officiate.  A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the First Christian Church in Knoxville.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Knox County Humane Society, Autism Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
