More than 300 Children Locally Received Gifts Through JCC Christmas Store

Programs at Jamieson Community Center are designed to increase food security and assist individuals with essential needs. Each month is busy at the center, but especially December around the holidays. Executive Director Nancy Mowen informs more than 300 children we able to receive gifts through the Christmas Store thanks to generous community donations:

“We were able to ensure that more than 300 children had presents to open Christmas morning, including warm clothing, hats and gloves, a blanket, a book, a toy, and a stocking stuffer. A basic Christmas, but parents so appreciative of the people in the community who made that possible.”

More than 2,000 people receive some type of assistance each year through the Jamieson Community Center.
