Sandra L. Stegall, age 84, of Oneida, Illinois died at 5:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Heartland Health Care Center in Galesburg, Illinois.She was born on November 11, 1937 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of William and Hazel (Pierce) Donahue.She attended and graduated form ROVA High School. She married Herman Dean Stegall on April 28, 1957 at the former United Methodist Church in Oneida, Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 24, 2017.Surviving is a daughter, Gaye (Jim) Henson of Oneida, Illinois; two grandchildren: Kaitlin (Tim) Denning of Mount Pleasant, Iowa and Brendan (Chelsey Lytle) Henson of East Galesburg, Illinois; three great grandchildren: Kolbey, Kwincey, and Karsyn Denning; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, David, two brothers and one sister.She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Victoria, Illinois. She was a member of the Knox CountyHome Extension, an Iowa fan. She enjoyed antiquing, collecting glass and Irish collectables.Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life at a later date with inurnment at the Oneida Cemetery, in Oneida, Illinois.
