The Following Preliminary Information is Being Released by Illinois State Police District 14

WHAT: Single Vehicle Traffic Crash with Injury

WHERE: 180th Avenue at 120th Street, Floyd Township, Warren County

WHEN: Jan. 28, 2022 at approximately 11:25 p.m.

VEHICLE: Unit 1 – 2005 Chevrolet Truck

DRIVER: Unit 1 – Jeremy S. Cassidy, a 34-year-old male from Monmouth, IL – Transported by ambulance to an area hospital with injuries.

PASSENGERS: Unit 1 – Marcus A. Albert, a 38-year-old male from Galesburg, IL – Transported by ambulance to an area hospital with injuries.

Unit 1 – Logan N. Stanley, a 21-year-old male from Monmouth, IL – Transported by ambulance to an area hospital with injuries.

PRELIMINARY: Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on 180th Avenue at 120th Street in Warren County. The driver of Unit 1 lost control entered the eastbound ditch and overturned. The occupants of Unit 1 were transported by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries. No further information will be disseminated at this time.

CHARGES: The driver of Unit 1 was arrested for Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and cited for Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Crash, and No Insurance.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
