Galesburg Library Construction Taking Shape; Funding Nears Completion

Share

The Galesburg Library Foundation is making great progress toward fully funding its capital campaign goal of $3.75 million, in order to complete the construction of a new public library at the corner of Academy & Main Street.

Pam Gaither, executive director of the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce, provides an update:

“The plans are amazing,” Gaither said Monday, during an interview on the WRAM “Community Hour”.

“There was a small gap in funding needed to complete this last construction bid, but work is moving forward and the project will happen. This building will make such a great addition to the community, and there will be something for everyone.”
