Carrie J. Bell, 43, of Chillicothe, IL, passed away at 2:32 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. 

She was born on April 6, 1979 in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Pamela Jern.  Carrie was raised by her grandparents, Lyle & Doris Brown.   She graduated from Monmouth High School in 1995.

Carrie married Joshua Bell on October 31, 2013 in Galesburg, IL, they have been together since 1997 and he survives.

Carrie worked at HyVee in Galesburg & Peoria for many years.  She helped at local resale shops.  Carried enjoyed baking, craft work, country music and collecting angels.  She loved her fur babies.  Carrie never knew a stranger and loved helping others.    

Surviving Carrie is her husband, Joshua Bell of Chillicothe, IL; three children, Alicia Hope Brown of Knoxville, IL, Andrew Lewis Bell of Chillicothe, IL, Aric Heath Bell of Chillicothe, IL; her mother, Pamela Jern of Oquawka, IL; two brothers; brother & sister-in-law, Joe and Kathryn Bell of Monmouth, IL, and sister-in-law, Jenny Bell of Galesburg, IL.  Several nieces and nephews also survive. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lyle & Doris Brown and her uncle, Randy Brown. 

A Celebration of Life will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Monmouth V.F.W. Hall, Monmouth, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Carrie Bell Memorial Fund.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.  For more information or to leave an online condolence please visit, www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com
