Eleanor L. Coulter, 76, of Roseville, IL, passed away at 7:29 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022 in the OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. Eleanor was born January 3, 1946 in California, the daughter of Clarence and Eva (Green) Ruth. She married John P. Coulter, Jr. on June 18, 1966 in Roseville and he preceded her in death July 19, 1991.
Survivors include her children; Lynn Huss of Stronghurst, IL, Bryan (Janine) Coulter of LaHarpe, IL, Daniel (Pamela) Coulter of Galesburg, IL; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother.
Eleanor worked at LaMoine Christian Nursing Home in Roseville as a CNA and also worked in home health care. She attended the Roseville Christian Church. She enjoyed getting together with her classmates once a month, gardening, flowers, and shopping with QVC. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 5-7p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Eleanor L. Coulter Memorial Fund and left in the care of the funeral home. Wise Family Funeral Home, Roseville, is in charge of the arrangements.
