20 vendors will be on hand at Eagle View Community Health System’s 2022 Health Fair on Thursday, August 11th at the Stronghurst Park. Marketing Director Emily Higgins shares a number of screenings attendees can benefit from during the event:
“We will have free health screenings. Blood pressure checks, hemoglobin checks, oral cancer screenings. We will have one of our substance use counselors there to talk about mental health and substance use counseling. Our CHW’s will be there to talk about the resources that they can offer. Of course, we will have all of our partners. One thing is OSF will be there to do A1C checks and Impact Life, formerly known as the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, will be there to do blood typing. Free food, door prizes, obstacle course, I mean there is going to be a lot going on in that park.”
The Health Fair will be held at the Stronghurst Park this Thursday from 11:30 am to 3 pm.
