M-R Superintendent Fletcher Says COVID Protocols and Test to Stay Will be Followed

Share

Although there are no mask mandates in place and the use of one remains optional, COVID protocols are in place for the safety of the students in the upcoming school year, explains Monmouth-Roseville Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“We ask our parents; if your kids are sick keep them home. Use the at home tests that are available. If your kid comes to school and they are symptomatic, we will test them. We will do out test to stay program and last year it proved to be very successful, and it was allowed to keep kids in the buildings. Our goal is to try and do everything we can to keep kids in school as much as possible. We also know kids are going to get sick. Work with our nurses and staff members, they will communicate with you. If a child has COVID, they can come back after five days as long as their symptoms are gone, but they have to mask for the next five days.”

School begins Friday, August 19th for kindergarten through 9th grade. All students are back in session Monday, August 22nd.
