Betty J. Pearson

Betty J. Pearson, age 94, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at 9:54 am on Tuesday October 4, 2022 at her residence at Courtyard Estates in Monmouth. Betty was born on August 11, 1928 in Iron Mountain, Michigan and is the daughter of Raymond and Laura LaVeine Armstrong. She was raised in Biggsville and graduated from Biggsville High School. Betty married Raymond Pearson on July 6, 1947 in Biggsville and he preceded her in death on May 3, 1995. Betty is a long time member of First Lutheran Church in Monmouth and was a homemaker in her own home and to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Pearson of Galesburg, Illinois and two sons, Michael L. Pearson and Barbara of Monmouth, Illinois and Steven Pearson and Lori of Monmouth, Illinois. There is one granddaughter, Joanne Lind and Jason and one grandson, Ben and Christine of Monmouth, and their two children, James and Braya. She is preceded  in death by her parents and husband. Cremation has been accorded and a private family interment for both Raymond and Betty is planned by her family in South Henderson Cemetery at a later date.
