United Students Receive Visits from Willow the Therapy Pig

Share

The United School District recently hired a new science and ag teacher, who also has introduced her therapy pot belly pig to the students, says Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt:

“Corrine Wascher is an experienced ag teacher. We were really lucky to land her. She has done some really cool projects and her horticulture groups have done some really neat things as far as beautifying the high school campus and doing some really cool things that way, but she has a resident pig, pot belly pig that serves as a therapy pig. She brings him on Wednesdays typically, Willow, she tails her around the buildings and our kids have fallen in love with Willow and what she brings to the table.”
