Donna Lee Lawson, 88, of Galesburg, passed away at 2:08 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 10, 1934, in Soperville, the daughter of Lionel and Mabel Julia (Johnson) Ryan. 

She is survived by her identical twin daughters, Judy Ann Lawson of Galesburg and Jean Ann (Al) Rushing of Yellow Jacket, Colorado; grandchildren, Jeannie (Michael) Lakis, Michael (Ashley) Beasley, Kristy (Joey) Krisher, and Matthew Rushing; two great granddaughters, Clementine and Olivia; a brother, Andrew L. (Rosie) Ryan Sr. of Galesburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Marjorie McKee, Maxine Hopping, and June Wessels.

Donna worked for Maytag for nearly 40 years.  She was a graduate of Galesburg High School.  Donna was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.  She loved to dance, play cards, and go shopping.

Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery.  The family and friends will gather at a luncheon following the burial for further fellowship and sharing.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is honored to serve the family.  Online condolences may be made on the funeral home’s website at www.h-p-w.com.
