Monmouth Police Chief Joe Switzer – Celebrate Responsibly this New Year’s Eve

Share

With New Year’s Eve this Saturday, Monmouth Police Chief Joe Switzer informs extra patrol officers will be out on the roadways and reminds individuals to celebrate responsibly:

“We do have extra patrols out, part of the Illinois Department of Transportation grants that we receive. They will be doing DUI patrols, distracted driving, seatbelts, and that will be all weekend. Have a designated driver or don’t drink at all. The best thing is to have a designated driver or if you are with a group of people or someone else and they have been drinking, don’t let they drive their vehicle.”
