Local Scholarships Available Through Western Illinois Regional Council

Scholarship applications are available now through the Western Illinois Regional Council, shares Outreach Specialist Haley Dorethy:

“We do offer three scholarships. The first one I want to cover is our trade school scholarship. We offer those all year round. We cover up to $1,500 per person as long as you are in a household that is income eligible, which we do have income guidelines that we follow. We also are doing our Scholastic Scholarship, which follows the same income guidelines. For this scholarship we are awarding a non-traditional and a traditional student in any of our counties that we serve; Knox, Hancock, Henderson, Warren, or McDonough County. Then we are also offering the Nathan Cobb Scholarship and those income guidelines are a little bit different.”

Complete scholarship details and income guidelines can be found online at https://wirpc.org/scholarships/. Application deadline in March 31st.
