Monmouth-Roseville Boys Basketball Battles But Falls Short in Regional Semis

The Monmouth-Roseville boys varsity basketball season is over following a hard fought match up with Rockridge in the class 2A Rockridge regional semifinals on Wednesday night. The Titans battled the top seed and host Rockets all the way to the end, but Rockridge would outlast the Monmouth-Roseville effort, winning 45-37. Speaking this morning about the season, Head Coach Jake Sottos says the team played a complete game, against one of the top teams in the area.

Monmouth-Roseville officially wraps up their season at 15-17 overall, and 5-7 in Three Rivers Conference play. The Titans will look to develop their younger talent this offseason, as they graduate 8 senior players from the program.
