Southern Airways Express Moves into Southeast Iowa Regional Airport April 1st

Share

Beginning April 1st, Southern Airways Express will be the Essential Air Services provider out of the Southeast Iowa Regional Airport in Burlington, Iowa. With recent challenges facing the airline industry, whether it was the difficulty to receive parts due to supply chain concerns or lack of pilots to fulfil a normal flight schedule, Southern Airways Chief Commercial Officer Mark Cestari says their strong presence in the local region will be sustainable for the greater Burlington area:

“The whole industry has been very challenged, we are no different, but we try to stay ahead of the game. We try to keep things simple. I think the fact that we already have a strong presence in this region with a maintenance base in Saint Louis, serving nearby Quincy; we have planes, pilots, and parts close by and hopefully that will allow us to run the kind of operation that Burlington deserves.”

Southern Airways Express will offer 24 round-trip flights per week to Chicago and Saint Louis. Tickets are available now at http://iflysouthern.com.
