The Monmouth-Roseville softball team is riding high after a dominant 15-5 win last night over the United Red Storm. The win serves as a big bounce back after two losses to tough Three Rivers Conference opponents Riverdale and Kewanee. The Titans now currently sit at 2-2 overall on the season, and have a busy stretch of games coming up in the next week. Head Coach of the Titans Jarrod Hippen says that the busier week gives the team a chance to get into rhythm, after many of their games to open the season were postponed due to weather.
Monmouth-Roseville’s stretch begins with a road rematch against Riverdale tonight. For the full interview with Coach Hippen, visit the Sports Podcast section.
