Cardinals Fall to Diamondbacks

The St. Louis Cardinals surrendered five runs in the top of the seventh during a 6-3 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Busch Stadium.  The game was tied at one entering the frame before St. Louis surrendered a solo home run to Ketel Marte and gave up a grand slam to Pavin Smith.  Alec Burleson hit a two-run home run in the defeat, while Jack Flaherty was charged with his second loss after surrendering four runs in six innings.  St. Louis has dropped two of three, and the Cardinals are in last place in the NL Central at 7-and-10.
