Hayden Wesneski threw seven innings of one-run ball as the Cubs crushed the Athletics 10-1 in Oakland. Wesneski allowed five hits and struck out seven to improve to 1-and-oh on the mound. Patrick Wisdom stayed hot at the plate with a pair of home runs in the victory, and Cody Bellinger was a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate as Chicago improved to 9-and-6. Marcus Stroman takes the hill for Chicago against Oakland tonight.
