Share

Illinois lawmakers are one vote away from sending a statewide anti-bullying plan to the governor. The Illinois Senate will next vote on the legislation that will require schools across the state to report bullying to parents within 24 hours. The Illinois State Board of Education would also be required to develop an anti-bullying blueprint that schools could use. Democratic state Senator Sara Feigenholtz says the idea is to make sure parents know what is happening in school. The Illinois House has already approved the plan.
