While Facebook is a great tool for communication, the ‘bad actors’ also use the platform to try and get information or quick payment from users, with the latest being a bait and switch trend, explains Monmouth Police Department Investigator Josh Kramer:

With hacked Facebook accounts being on the rise recently, Investigator Kramer recommends changing your password to secure your account and protect any information you may have stored on the platform.
