The West Central 8-man football team was recently in action this past Friday, taking on state ranked Pawnee/Lincolnwood on the road in Pawnee. The Heat playing in their 3rd road game in 4 weeks, would fall to Pawnee/Lincolnwood 56-12, bringing their record to 0-4 on the season. In addition to their skid to begin the season, the Heat have sustained numerous injuries across their entire starting lineup. West Central now turns their sights on yet another road contest, this time with the Galva Wildcats. Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show this morning, Heat Head Coach Jason Kirby went over the areas of play his team is working to improve upon, as they try to get in the win column down the stretch of the I8FA regular season.

West Central’s matchup with the Galva Wildcats will kickoff from Galva High School at 7:00 on Friday night. For the full interview with Coach Kirby, visit the Sports Podcast section of our website, radiomonmouth.com
