This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central Illinois…northwest Illinois…west central Illinois…east central Iowa…northeast Iowa…southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri. .DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT Snow showers are possible late tonight as a cold front moves into the area. Wind gusts to 30 mph are expected along with reduced visibilties to a mile or less are possible in heavier snow showers. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY Snow showers are possible Tuesday morning across the area. Winds gusting to 40 mph, reduced visibilities to a mile or less are possible with the showers. Bridges and overpasses may also become slick during the morning. Minor accumulations of snow are possible on grassy and elevated surfaces. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT… Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.

Sunny through mid morning, then becoming partly sunny, with a high near 39. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight

Mostly clear, with a low around 25. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday

A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Breezy, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Tuesday Night

Mostly clear, with a low around 20. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Wednesday

Mostly sunny, with a high near 42.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 30.

Thursday

Mostly sunny, with a high near 51.

Thursday Night

Partly cloudy, with a low around 36.
