The Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education has approved their tentative tax levy, shares Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“I am not anticipating much of an increase, if any increase at all. Last year we were about 4.71 percent and I think we are going to land in that same spot or very close to it. We balloon levy, so we do have our Truth and Taxation hearing, and we balloon levy because right now the Equalized Assessed Value is a guess because it doesn’t come out until May. That is why we have the Truth and Taxation hearing. Our levy will probably only go up about three percent.”

Superintendent Fletcher informs the Board also approved the Health Insurance for 2024, staying with Blue Cross Blue Shield and rates for the PPO increased 9.6 percent and the HSA increased 5.63 percent.
