The performance will be held on Saturday, November 18th at 7:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Galesburg. Soloists include Alyssa Mathias, Sunshine Regiacorte, Kaitlyn McCullough, Nick Elders, Lorie Larsen, Julie King, and Kathleen Harger.

Tickets are available at the door as well as online at galesburgcommunitychorus.org. Cost of the tickets are free for all students, $10 for seniors 60 and over, and $15 for adults. The concert will be followed by a reception as well as a Silent Art Auction, with all proceeds going to the Chorus.

Also known as the Misa Tango, the piece combines a traditional Mass text with tango rhythms and jazz harmonies. The Chorus will be accompanied by a strings, piano, and the Argentinian bandoneon.

This concert is generously sponsored by Craft on Seminary. Additionally, our season sponsors are the City of Galesburg, the Galesburg Community Foundation, and the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.

The Galesburg Community Chorus, directed by Dr. Tim Pahel, is the oldest community music organization in the Galesburg area and has been in existence since 1945.
