The United Red Storm girls basketball team has notched 2 wins under their belt in the past 3 days. After falling to Knoxville 44-36 to end the month of November, United has gotten out to a nice start to the December month with a 31-27 win over Rockridge at home on Saturday, before taking down Galva last night 44-17 to improve their overall record to 4-3. Next up for United is a road trip to Peoria Christian tomorrow, before the Lady Red Storm take part in the United girls shootout this weekend. Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show this morning, 2nd year Head Coach at United Chris Olson says that he is proud of the way his young team has developed this season, but knows that their are still areas of improvement that the team will continue to work at as the season goes along.

Tomorrow night’s United girls at Peoria Christian contest will tip-off at 7:00 from Peoria Christian High School. For the full interview with Coach Olson, visit the Sports Podcast section of our website, radiomonmouth.com
