Roseville Lanes & Diner is now under new ownership. Chuck and Charlie Steck from Geneva, Illinois bought the Roseville staple with hopes of creating a “heatbeat” for the community. Having grown up in a bowling allies, both bowling in leagues and as an employee, Charlie dreamed of owning his own alley. The pair hopes to encourage the younger generations involved in the sport.
“I want to enhance the amount of people that are coming in. We do have a good amount of bowlers but now I want to make it so it’s into the modern era where we have new scoring, new technology of bowling balls. A new place overall that people are going to come in and love to actually see all the changes that we are making.”
The Steck’s are already hard at work making the facility their own. Chuck explains they have transformed the diner’s menu to include more fresh food options and they are working with a bowling alley designer as they remodel the property, both inside and out. The Steck’s hope to do a relaunch when renovations are finished in the spring under the new name of Revolution Bowl, Dining, & Bar.
