We made it to 2024! January is the time for trying new things, welcoming students and colleagues back, and sticking to resolutions. 2024 will be an exciting year for Regional Office of Education #33, and we can’t wait to continue to serve our schools and communities!

We at ROE #33 hope you had an unforgettable holiday season and that your new year is filled with everything you are looking for!

ROE #33 Goes Medieval for the First 2024 All-Staff Meeting

Regional Office of Education #33 rung in the new year at our bi-annual all-staff meeting!

Our theme was medieval, as ROE staff were encouraged to dress in their most royal attire. Crowns, jewels, and knight masks adorned the tables, and a feast that would be fit for any queen or king was enjoyed by our team.

Julie Boll Consulting introduced our staff to Brené Brown and her “Dare to Lead” training. Staff had the opportunity to discover their core values–core values that are the root of who we are as members of our organization and within our lives. The teachings of Dr. Brown also gave us a better understanding of being vulnerable and what it means to be courageous in the workplace.

It’s opportunities like our all-staff meeting that allow ROE #33 and Regional Superintendent Jodi Scott to step back and realize how lucky we are as an organization to have a phenomenal team equally passionate about the work we do and the ability to serve where it matters most: our schools and communities.
