Monmouth Police Chief Joe Switzer Advises Motorists to Slow Down with Ongoing Construction in Downtown Monmouth

Share

Construction has begun around the square in Downtown Monmouth as water lines are being replaced ahead of the streetscape beautification anticipated to begin in June. Monmouth Police Chief Joe Switzer reminds motorists to slow down and watch for equipment and workers:

“They are doing a lot of construction right now and you can’t park on some of the quadrants, so you will have to figure out somewhere else to park. Be careful going around the square. There are people walking around running equipment and just kind of be defensive when you are driving around the square, go slow, and give everybody some room.”
