The CDC has adopted new guidelines for positive COVID individuals, reports Warren County Health Department Administrator Jenna Link:
“It was that you were still suppose to isolate for five days form onset of symptoms before you went back to work and they have now adapted and changed those guidelines. A lot of us now have either had COVID, had our vaccinations, been exposed, and our immune systems are recognizing that virus and we are able to respond a little better than we were in the beginning. They have repealed the latest set of guidelines. Their new ones, fever free and symptoms improving for 24 hours and you can go back to work, to school, all of those things.”
Link also shares COVID testing and vaccinations are now commercialized and being provided by the federal government, but they still do have a supply of at-home testing kits available at the Health Department if needed.
