One Arrested, Two Wanted For Rock Island Livestock Auction Fire

One person has been arrested, and authorities have a warrant out for two others in connection to the fire that burned down the old Rock Island Livestock Auction. Police yesterday said they arrested 21-year-old Matthew Wooddell for arson and animal torture. Prosecutors have warrants for two others, 22-year-old William Kosgard the fourth and 18-year-old Kadon Svec, on the same charges.  All three have criminal records for things like criminal damage to property and trespassing. Rock Island Police are asking anyone who knows anything about Kosgard and Svec to please reach out.
