Former Fighting Illini football player Vontae Davis has died.  Police say they found the body of the 35-year-old in a South Florida home yesterday.  Foul play is not suspected.  Davis intercepted seven passes during his three-year stint with the Illini from 2006 until 2008.  He went on to play ten seasons between the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, and Buffalo Bills.  While playing for the Bills, he retired during halftime of a regular season game against the Miami Dolphins in September 2018.
