Recharge Teen Center Staff Gearing Up for Summer Activities

Share

With the warmer springtime temperatures, summer hours and activities are already being planned for the Recharge Teen Center in Monmouth. Coordinator Amy Rogers shares events the teens, ages 13 to 19, can look forward too during the summer months:

“We have already cleaned out the garden and word is that it is going to be tilled within the next couple of weeks. We have all of the seeds and plants purchased for it, so we will be spending a lot of time with the garden and hopefully growing some things for the Farmer’s Market. We also have our summer Med School that is coming up. Summer Med School is going to provide an opportunity for our teens to get a hands-on, birds eye view of the medica, dental, and behavioursal health world. There are some fun things that they get to experiment with, and they will be able to have some instruction from professionals in those fields.”

Beginning June 3rd, the Recharge Teen Center will transition to summer hours, which will be noon to 6 pm Mondays through Fridays.
