NCAA Signs Deal That Could Mean Collegiate Athlete Payments

Share

A new deal between the NCAA and the country’s five biggest conferences could pave the way to student athletes being paid.  Late last week the NCAA announced a tentative agreement to a series of antitrust lawsuits, which could direct millions of dollars to collegiate athletes as soon as the Fall of 2025.  NCAA President Charlie Baker said the payments are “an important step in the continuing reform of college sports that will provide benefits to student-athletes and provide clarity in college athletics for years to come.”
