Kickoff to Railroad Days Festival: A Downtown Block Party

Share

Downtown Community Partnership of Galesburg will once again bring Chew Chew & Brew to
Downtown Galesburg. Get ready for an evening filled with fun, food, and fantastic music! Join us on
Friday, June 28, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, for an unforgettable experience. We will shut down the Park
Plaza area, located at 130 E Main Street. This event is perfect for families, friends, and anyone looking to
enjoy a great night out.

Admission is cash only at $5 per person. We encourage you to bring your children as they will get in for
free (ages 8 and under). A kids area with free activities, such as yard games and a bounce house, will be
staffed and active from 5-7:00 p.m. While seating is provided, it goes fast. You are more than welcome to
bring lawn chairs and post up on the lawn!

Local bar and restaurant vendors will pack the block, so show up hungry! Amazing food and drinks will
be available from our favorite local spots, including The Bar 65, Reserve Artisan Ales, Cherry St, 156 East,
Iron Spike, Coney Island, The Packing House, and Jimmy’s Pizza. No matter your palette, you will find
something you enjoy!

We are looking forward to an exciting evening of live music! Ex Bombers will open from 5-7:00 p.m. for
Dexter O’Neal and The Funk Yard, capping the night off from 7:30-10:00 p.m.

This event is exclusively sponsored by GM, whose generous donation is bringing Chew Chew & Brew
back to the Downtown Galesburg community.

Don’t miss out on this exciting event! Bring your friends and family for a night of fun, food, and live
entertainment. Remember, it’s a cash-only event, so please plan accordingly.
