Man In Custody After Police Chase Ends In Davenport

A man is in custody after a police chase ended in Davenport.  Authorities say Rock Island County Sheriff’s deputies responded Tuesday to Unity Point Health, Trinity Hospital in Rock Island on a report of a female who had suffered severe injuries during a domestic incident.  Investigators identified Ross as a suspect and determined he was driving the victim’s car.  Officers began to chase the suspect after spotting him leaving a hotel in Moline.  The pursuit ended in the area of 4th Street East and Marquette Avenue in Davenport and Ross was arrested.
