A completion day is in sight for the masonry project at the Warren County Courthouse, shares Buildings and Grounds Committee Chair Sean Cavanaugh:

“There was additional work that had to be done for the same bidded price. We had the contractor in to get a timeline of completion. We are ready to have it completed. The public is ready to have it completed. Essentially, the contractor explained there is some exterior work, some grouting of the joints, tuck pointing, and it is a lot. They tuck pointed miles. About two weeks and that should be wrapping up with another week of maybe some finishing work. Then they will go to town by completing the steps and the porch area and that could take two to three weeks. So we are looking at September as a completion date.”

COVID funds were used for the nearly $700,000 masonry project to renovate the Warren County Courthouse.
