The Monmouth College Fighting Scots volleyball team is off to its best start since going (7-4) at the beginning of the 2018 season. Second-year head coach Derrick Broekemeier has the Scots (6-4) and are coming off a (3-0) weekend in their own Fighting Scot Invitational Tournament. A quality freshman group is helping lead the way.

Here’s Monmouth College Sports Information Director Nathan Baliva with more on the volleyball squad.

The Scots will head to the UW-Lacrosse Invitational for four matches between Friday and Saturday. This will be the final tournament before starting Midwest Conference play on Oct. 4th. The next home match for Monmouth College isn’t until Friday, October 11th vs. Illinois College.
