The Lab at the OSF Center for Health is pleased to announce its transition to becoming a department of OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center, effective October 27. This integration will allow us to better serve physicians and practices throughout the community, offering expanded access to lab services under the OSF HealthCare umbrella.

What this means for patients:

Lab services will continue to be provided at the current OSF Center for Health location. However, patients may notice changes in billing and registration procedures, and there could be differences in out-of-pocket costs. These expenses will now be the same as if you were receiving lab or EKG services directly at OSF St. Mary. To fully understand how this transition may impact your personal costs, we encourage you to contact your health insurance provider.

Other lab service options:

In addition to the OSF Center for Health, patients may continue to utilize the Galesburg Clinic Lab at 3315 N. Seminary St. in Galesburg, an OSF Medical Group facility. The clinic accepts walk-ins Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Appointments can also be scheduled by calling (309) 344-1000.

We’re here to help:

Please ensure you are familiar with your insurance coverage and feel free to ask us any questions regarding this transition.

For any inquiries related to your billing statement, please contact OSF HealthCare at (800) 421-5700.
