Twenty-eight thousand dollars was raised during the Buchanan Center of the Arts Taste of the Arts Gala, which will support local arts programming and partners. Executive Director Kristyne Gilbert also shares the Spirit of Grace Patron of the Arts recipient:

“In celebration of our 35th anniversary of the arts in our community, we raised $28,000 for arts programs and arts partners. I want to think everybody who attended, who contributed to the arts in our community. I also want to share with you our Spirit of Grace Patron of the Arts award was presented to Stacia Mattan. We have added each year a raffle to our fundraising and those three grand prize winners were Rod Davies, Vicky Howard, and John Baker. I also want to say thank you to the Patton Block Grill and Brew Pub, M & E Catering, and DJ Vital Beats for making our gala an event to remember.”

Additionally, 130 images are on display in the BCA Gallery as part of the Security Savings Bank Amateur Photography Show through December 21st.
