  • Porter Brothers will be pouring sidewalk and ADA ramps by Stanton insurance tomorrow. This area will be closed for a couple days.
  • If areas are blocked off with snow fence, please do not step on the fresh concrete.
  • The area by Stanton should be opened by Friday but may have osb wooden sheets to walk on during the weekend.
  • Curb and Gutter will also be poured along the business fronts.
  • It is recommended to enter businesses from the new courthouse sidewalk on the West side.

Business fronts and the parking bump out areas near Stanton Insurance are a priority. The goal is to have all the sidewalks poured along the business fronts and N. Main opened back up within the next couple of weeks. The temperatures this week will stop concrete production after tomorrow. Next week’s weather looks better, and Porter Brothers plans to pour several days.

The intent for the project is to continue on until the weather shuts production down. This usually happens when the concrete plants shut down.

Please use caution around the Square as construction continues.
