Mrs. Linda K. Bradshaw, 76, formerly of St. Augustine, Illinois passed away at 2:08 pm Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Knox County Nursing Home.

Linda was born the daughter of Leo and Reba (Cooper) Emory on May 18, 1948, in Macomb, Illinois. She married John R. Bradshaw on January 25, 1969, in Prairie City, Illinois. After 51 ½ years of marriage he preceded her in death on June 24, 2020.

She is survived by her children; Michael Bradshaw, Amy Bradshaw and Janeen Bradshaw-Combs; her brother, Mark (Karen) Emory of Mundelein, Illinois and two grandchildren, Blayne and Addyson Bradshaw. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Linda graduated from Avon High School and attended Spoon River College. In her earlier years she worked at the Avon Nursing Home but once she married John she settled in nicely as a homemaker. Linda cared for her children and husband, tending to the household chores, running their children to their school events and always having a full dinner prepared. She was known for delicious potato salad.

Linda attended the Abingdon Christian Church where she played the piano for the youth Sunday School classes. She later attended the Coal Creek Bible Church where she also played the piano. Linda was generous with her time volunteering for many years for the Galesburg Rescue Mission.

Visitation is scheduled for 4:00-6:00 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel. Services will follow at 11:30 am on Friday at the chapel with Rev. Daniel Siems officiating. The burial will be in Bushnell Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Galesburg Rescue Mission.
